Schedule of Events & Holiday Service Schedule
The Lutheran Church of Madison invites you and your family to join us in celebrating a season filled with joy. We have a number of events planned reflecting the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We welcome you to take advantage of these wonderful opportunities to worship and celebrate our Lord’s birth:
Advent Brunch & Tree Trimming
Sunday December 4, 2011 at 11:30am
The Women's Missionary Guild invites you to their annual Advent Brunch and Tree trimming to be held on Sunday December 4, 2011 at 11:30am. The ladies will be cooking a baked ham as the main course with all of the trimmings, so bring your appetite. If you can, we ask each family to bring a plate of Christmas cookies for desert. We will need lots of children to help decorate our Christmas tree.
Caroling Caravan
Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 3:00pm
Our annual Caroling Caravan will be on Tuesday, December 13th. We are meeting at the church at 3:00pm and all you need is a smile and good cheer. No musical talent required. Please join us as we bring the joy of the season to many of our super seniors.
Living Nativity
Saturday December 17, 2011 at 6:00pm & 7:00pm
Our production of The Living Nativity is a witness to our community, proclaiming that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. This production, under the direction of Bruce Cuseo, will be on Saturday, December 17th. There will be two performances which will be held at 6:00pm and 7:00pm. Hot cocoa and donuts will be served after each performance as our gift to the community. This year’s Living Nativity promises to be as amazing as always and we look forward to seeing you there.
Christmas Eve Family Worship

All families, especially those with young children, are encouraged to join us for our Christmas Eve Family Worship Service at 5:00pm. This service will include our Sunday School Christmas Pageant and our students will help tell the story of God coming to earth as a human infant and to be our Savior.
Christmas Eve Candelight Service
Saturday December 24, 2011 at 7:00pm
Our more formal Candlelight Worship Service will be held on Christmas Eve at 7:00pm. We will hear familiar Bible readings and singing traditional carols at this service. This year our Church Choir will perform songs of the season, as well as a few special anthems. Please join us for this formal and very special celebration.
Christmas Day Festival Worship Service
Sunday December 25, 2011 at 10:00am
This year Christmas Day falls on a Sunday, so rather than two services we will be having one united Festival Worship Service at 10:00am. We invite you to attend this special Sunday morning service of readings and carols. The Choir will also perform singing some new anthems and one old favorite. Please note the special time, 10:00am, and we look forward to having you join as we celebrate the birth of our Lord.

Special Note About Parking
There is ample parking available in our paved lot, as well as the grass areas adjacent to the church along Britton Lane. We would sincerely appreciate it if you would reserve the spaces in our paved lot for our visitors and members needing a bit more assistance.
